Five Men Molest A Woman In Lagos

The police have arrested five suspects and have charged them before Apapa magistrate’s court with stealing and indecent assault on a woman at bus stop while she was returning from work in the evening in Lagos State Western Nigeria.

The suspects are Samson Sunday, 21, Nathaniel Jacob, 22, Tumba Tizhe, 28, Joseph Tumba, 28 and Abdulahi Abubakar.
The suspects allegedly accosted one Ogechukwu Eze at Rainbow bus stop in Amuwo Odofin area, they reportedly forced her to a corner and molested her sexually.

According to the police, the suspects allegedly fondled her breasts and forced her to lay on a ground while they removed her pant and inserted their fingers inside her private part one after the other.
P.M.NEWS gathered that though they did not physically beat her up, they debased her.
Thereafter, they collected her phone and robbed her of N131, 000 in her bag.


The assault and stealing was reported to the police who trailed the suspects and arrested them.
P.M. NEWS gathered that the victim was invited to the station and she identified the suspects.
Subsequently, the police charged them to court with stealing and indecent assault under the Criminal code.

They however pleaded not guilty.
The presiding magistrate, Mr T. Abolarenwa granted them bail in the sum of N100,000 with one surety in like sum who must show evidence of livelihood.
They were remanded in prison custody pending when they will perfect their bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 5 May 2016.
